SAMSUNG GALAXY BUDS PRO A PERFECT SUCCESSOR

Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro

Arguable ever since Apple launched the first generation air-pods in late 2016, wireless earphones as we knew them have never been the same.

The wireless evolution has given us a wide pallet to chose from.

Samsung, a direct Apple competitor, not to be outdone, is set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro this Thursday.

Fortunately a close friend manage to get these babies before the official launch and I gave them a try for a few hours, here is what think.

The galaxy buds pro come in three colors Black, Silver and Violate.

Already I love the black ones, they come in high gloss color, which is hard to smudge with fingerprints.

The Samsung Buds pro case comes with a standard USB-C charging port and a chi charging.

The buds lasts up to 5 hours, per charge and the case can stretch up to 18 hours.

Just like the Samsung Galaxy live buds, the buds pro case is still portable and pocket-able.

The magnets holding the pods in the case, are still descent, even if you tilt the case, the buds wont drop unless you spank the case.

The buds themselves are slightly bigger than the previous version. This could be because of the new chips inside, 11 mm sub woofer and a 6.5mm tweeter which have drastically improved sound quality.

When it comes to noise cancellation they do good job, but can not be compared with Air-Pods Pro and Sony’s WF 1000XM.

One thing I noticed about the Samsung Galaxy buds pro, is that they are easy to wear. You just pop them, give them a twist and lock them in your ears and you are good to go.

They are quite comfortable as well, but you have to take your time to check the perfect ear tips size, once you find it you are good to go.

Just like the air-pods pairing the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is very easy, you just place them besides your Samsung smart phone and a dialog box pops up, and you are set.

Ambient sound is also on point, you can adjust it to your preference. The new software detects your voice and stops music from playing and once you finish your conversation the music kicks right in

The Samsung Buds Pro sound is very good, the base is on point. They have a noticeable sub base feel to them, noticeable the Samsung Galaxy live are louder.

They handled all music genres I threw at them pretty well.

Once the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are released, I will give a detailed review, but in general I say they are a perfect successor to the Samsung Galaxy live.
